Hunger

They sink

Deep into their own bodies

And take turns

In making themselves

Into utensils of skin-

One mounting over

The fire of the other.

They cook

Their own flesh

Into a sweet pulp of desire.

Seething in hunger

They start licking

The platter

Of their quivering bodies

Clean, sucking marrows

From each other’s bone

Moaning in satiation

Profusely complimenting the cook

On the taste of the recipe.
